Winter break is long. By December 28th, the Christmas excitement has faded, the toys are old news, and your kid is climbing the walls. Holiday basketball camp gives them three mornings of structured, active basketball in a real facility — and gives you three mornings to yourself.

This camp falls during Okaloosa County winter break (December 21-31). Three half-day sessions that keep your child active without dominating the rest of your holiday plans.
What to Expect
Holiday camp is built around fun and fundamentals. The energy is high, the coaching is real, and the atmosphere is more relaxed than our summer intensives. This is not boot camp — it is basketball camp during a holiday week, and we match the vibe accordingly.
That said, your child will still learn. Every session has a skills focus:
Day 1 — Ball Handling and Dribbling: Station-based drills that build coordination and confidence with the ball. Games and competitions mixed in to keep energy up.
Day 2 — Shooting and Scoring: Form shooting, layup technique, and short-range scoring moves. We break down the mechanics in a way kids actually understand and remember.
Day 3 — Scrimmages and Competition: Everything from Days 1 and 2 gets tested in live games. Coached scrimmages, skills challenges, and awards for effort and improvement.

You do not need previous basketball experience. You do not need to be on a team. You just need court shoes and a willingness to move.
The Facility
FCP Sports is a dedicated basketball facility in Fort Walton Beach — climate-controlled, regulation hoops, hardwood court. December weather is irrelevant. Your child trains indoors in a professional environment.
Families from Destin, Niceville, Navarre, and Crestview attend holiday camp. Military families at Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field — we are your closest indoor basketball option during the break.
