Fall League: Saturday Morning Basketball Done Right

When school is back in session, your child’s basketball development should not stop. The FCP Sports fall basketball league gives players from Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Niceville, Navarre, and Crestview a structured, competitive season with real refs, real stats, and real coaching – all on Saturday mornings so it fits around school sports and family schedules.

This is not a rec center drop-in. It is an 8-week season with standings, playoffs, and trophies. Every game is played in our dedicated basketball facility with a scoreboard, PA system, and trained referees. Military families from Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field are welcome and receive a discount.

Four Divisions, Age-Appropriate Rules

Mini Division (K-2nd Grade, Ages 5-8) – $59 Modified rules designed for younger players. 8-foot baskets, smaller balls, no full-court press. Score is kept, but the emphasis is on learning the game, having fun, and building confidence. Jersey included.

Junior Division (3rd-5th Grade, Ages 8-11) – $79 Standard youth rules with 10-foot baskets. Zone and man-to-man defense allowed. Real refs, real stats. Most players in this division have 1-3 years of basketball experience. Jersey included.

Intermediate Division (6th-8th Grade, Ages 11-14) – $89 Near-regulation rules. Players are introduced to full-court press, advanced offensive sets, and defensive schemes. Coaching between quarters is allowed. This is where serious development happens. Jersey included.

Senior Division (9th-12th Grade, Ages 15-18) – $99 Full FHSAA-adjacent rules for high school players and serious athletes. This division draws players who want competitive reps outside their school season. Film review available between games. Jersey included.

Discounts can be combined. Payment plans are available for all divisions.

How Teams Are Formed

We draft teams for competitive balance. Every player is evaluated and placed on a team so that the league stays competitive from week one through the playoffs. You can request to play with a friend, but all requests are subject to draft balance. No one gets to stack a roster.

Why Saturday Mornings?

Fall is a busy season. Between school sports, Friday night football, and family commitments, weeknight leagues create conflicts. Saturday mornings give your child dedicated basketball time without stepping on anything else. Games are finished by early afternoon, leaving the rest of your weekend free.
